Chris Roles-Wain of 'Just Anything' has been busy fitting the latest batch of blue plaques on houses in the village to honor the fallen from two world wars. The plaques, expertly made by Croft Castings of Whitby, have been financed by The National Lottery Community Fund. Harbury Heritage have been leading the project in conjunction with the Parish Council. There are 3 WW1 plaques and 9 WW2 plaques bearing the names of 14 servicemen whose names appear on the war memorial in Crown Street.
