Wagstaffe School House comes on the market

One of the village's oldest properties, the Wagstaffe School (House) dating back to 1611, is now up for sale for the first time in over 50 years! Sitting in a prime village location by the side of All Saints Church, the school was originally for the education of the village children. Thomas Wagstaffe, a lawyer, who at one time lived at the Manor House, provided funds for the building which has a very interesting history. As a school, it only closed its doors in 1970 when it was purchased by the Woodruff family who have lived there until recently.

The property is being marketed by Craig Sharman of 'exp UK' who has an office in Church Terrace. See Rightmove for more details.
